The Bournemouth Plane Pull Challenge is a unique charity event where teams work together to pull a Boeing 737 aircraft across the runway at Bournemouth Airport. Team DSAA will consist of 20 supporters working together to raise funds for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. What will happen on the day? After registration and safety briefings, Team DSAA will take to the runway and work together to pull a 35,000kg Boeing 737 fifty metres. What time do I need to arrive? Our team’s pulling slot will be confirmed nearer the time, between 10am-5pm. We advise you arrive on site 45 minutes before our confirmed slot, to give yourself time for registration. Is there a minimum age? Participants must be aged 14 or over. Those aged 14-17 must: Have the parental consent portion of the liability form signed Be accompanied by a responsible adult (as a spectator is fine) Do I need Photo ID? Yes, you must bring an original, official photo ID that is valid on the date of the event. Only the forms of identification listed in our 'Accepted Forms of ID' document will be accepted. Please note: The name on your photo ID must exactly match the details on your signed waiver. Important: Participants will not be permitted to take part if they: Do not bring a valid, current official photo ID Bring photo ID that has expired on or before the event date Present photo ID that does not match the details on their waiver There are no exceptions to this rule. Every year, participants are unfortunately turned away because they arrive without acceptable photo ID. How will DSAA support my fundraising?
